So I have had some nights lately that I can't sleep, so I have had time to think. I have been thinking a lot about how blessed I am.
Because of some recent events in my life I have been reflecting more and more on my blessing to realize that everything will be ok.
So, I'm going to make a list of my blessings and hope that I can add more to it as I think about them...
1. I have the most AMAZING family ever. There are a lot of us, but I can see how they support me in what I do, and I hope they know I support them and love them too.
2. The Gospel.
3. The love I feel everyday from my Heavenly Father. It's awesome!
4. The fact that I love my job! I have worked where I didn't want to go to work, but I'm finally doing something that I want to do, and I love it.
5. My awesome extended family! This should be higher up on my list, I know, but I love them all a lot. I haven't spent a ton of time with them all, but the time I have spent is always fun.
6. The internet. Let me explain: I can get in contact with everyone I want to talk to by some form of communication on the internet. I can keep in contact with those extended family members that I don't get to see!
7. My awesome parents. Again, this should be WAY higher up on the list... if there was a real number before 1 this should be there. They are the best parents a girl could have. I don't know how I lucked out by getting them! They are the best example of what a marriage should be and I aspire to be like them someday. I could say more, but if you know my parents you know...
There are way more, but as I'm at work I will finish for now.

Oh Heck...
So I know a lot of my cousins read this blog, and I'm trying to remember how to play Oh Heck! I only remember parts of it, so I figure if we all pitch in we might be able to get it... If all else fails we can call Aunt Janet. She'll remember...
By the way, life is going well. I was promoted to Office Manager about 2 weeks ago, and have been so busy I haven't been able to tell everyone! I decided I would take this next season off of softball so that I can get myself organized with this new job, but I'll be back to it in the fall. I love y'all!
Joyce
PS I get to go to Florida every other month for work now! Free trip to Florida... I'm not arguing! :)

10 Honest things about me
10. I, like Amy, sometimes am too lazy to brush my teeth before bed... I always feel bad because then I don't wear my retainer (yes, I still wear mine!). I feel bad because I always wanted pretty teeth, and my orthodontist scared me and said if I didn't my teeth would move back to the way they were... Gross, I know...
9. I think being a nurse would be the most rewarding career, but I'm scared to go to school. I am afraid I will fail... Even though I would be too determined to fail.
8. I think I know more than I really do about life. I still have a lot to learn, and some I've had to learn the hard way...
7. I truely believe that the cokes (or soda, however you say it) at doughnut shops and bbq places are WAY better... we're talking the little bbq shops that are attached to a strip mall or gas station... or operating out of a little building/portable that looks like it will blow over in a strong wind!
6. I love my family. There are so many people now a days that don't treat their family the way they deserve. They're your family. They will always be there for you! I don't have a ton of memories with my older siblings from when I was a kid, but we are more than making up for that now. I feel so blessed everyday for my family. We're loud and crazy, and HUGE! I love being surrounded by the 3 brothers right around me. I feel sorry for the guys I date sometimes because of them. They may not put off that "protective vibe" all the time, but they are. They've been pretty heated because of a few guys... But I love being from a big family and wouldn't trade it for anything...
5. I wish that I was able to get to see my extended family more often. I miss them all the time. Yes, my cousins in Utah and Arizona, this one's for you! There are cousin's I've never met I'm sure... But I miss y'all all the time! Love you! :)
4. As I said before I want to be a nurse, but I can be grossed out easily sometimes... I love to watch the Discovery Health Channel, but I turn my head a lot when I can't stand to see something... I can't watch a Dr. cut someone for surgery... Gross...
3. My mom says I was born in the wrong era. I LOVE the music from the time when her and my dad were little kids, and their growing up years... I also love big band music... Seriously, where did I come from?
2. I try not to be rude, but sometimes I think I am... I'll stick up for what I believe in and sometimes I may be a little forward about it. On the other hand though, I don't like people being mad at me... I don't like to feel guilty about anything... I was always a goody-goody if you will...
1. I'm an impulse buyer... I've gotten much better than I used to be. I used to think I had all the money in the world, but I've learned the last few years that there are WAY more important things than the latest cell phone or iPod... I'm still getting better, and have had a lot of help from the Lord for it...
So, I may not have shared what everyone was thinking, but that's my list...
I think I will tag... Jenn, Katie, Karris, Merideth, Brit, and whoever else wants to do this... It's kinda tough though... be prepared!

Pictures...
I wanted to add some pictures...

This is Riley Jeanette's youngest... We had some good times when I lived in Oklahoma...

Oh, Bluebonnets... I hope there is a good turn out this year... I love them so much Jesse pulled over on the way to the airport just so I could take some pictures... Then a state trooper stopped to make sure we were ok... So friendly...

Some of my cute nieces... We have good genes in this family...

This is at the top of Mt. Magazine in Arkansas. We went to visit Joseph and Kathy and we took the LONG way home. Jeanette and I wanted to stop here and Glen obliged by driving up 45 mins to the top. We went to the restroom in the WORST bathroom ever, and then stopped to take pictures... I gave the Lord a thumbs up for this view. It was AMAZING up there. The beauty of the earth is breathtaking.

This is what happened the last time I played softball... My whole leg was swollen and bruised... You should see the pictures of the other side of my leg... It was SWEET!
Hope you enjoyed a few pictures... And sorry if this last one grossed you out... I'm weird and love scars and bruises...

Current events
So, I'm staring my softball season on Friday. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous. Don't get me wrong, I love playing softball, but I haven't played in over a year. I'm hoping it all comes back to me!
I've been having a pretty good week. I still love my job, and the people I work with. It's been pretty busy which makes for faster days and weeks.
Today was Stake Conference and it was really good. It was a broadcast from Salt Lake and went to all of TX, OK, and NM. The best was Jeff asking who spoke at my stake conference... It made me laugh.
Good news: James and Angie are going to have another baby in September. This makes number 16 in the Nicholas grandkids...
Bad news: Paul Harvey died yesterday at 90. He's in a better place, but the "Rest of the story" won't be the same... Yeah, I listen to it when I can catch it...
