Mitch's wedding

So, I was able to go out to Mitch's wedding reception in Longview last weekend. I LOVE seeing family! These are some of the pictures from the reception. I had a blast seeing Lori and her family. It's about time some of those Utah family members got to Texas! :) Love y'all! It's times like these that make me miss them all even more... So next time you feel like making a trip down here, just give me a call... I'll come see ya! Grandpa got a kiss from Heidi... James his family were able to make it!

Mitch and Brooke leaving... they didn't stay gone long...
Mom, Lori, Dad, and Jim... It was so much fun to see them!
Dad and Lori. Lori, feel free to steal these if you want!
James dancing with his little girl... She is a cute one that Heidi-Pie!
Mitchell and I... He's a ton of fun... Seriously though I didn't get a single picture with all the Barnhurst kids that were there!
Lori... What can I say about this lady other than I love her tons! She's one hot momma!
Here's the happy couple!

So these last two aren't from the wedding, but from the 4th of July and some other time... Riley took my camera to take some pictures and I couldn't stop laughing at her! She started taking some self portraits... This is one of them...

Now where would she get that face from??

I can't figure it out??

Recent Activity

So, it's been a while since I've posted anything, but I haven't had anything really exciting happen in my life recently... I guess I'll just tell you what I've done in the last little while.

I finally got an office at work! I've been in the middle of a conference room trying to talk to hospitals, doctors, and insurance companies with everyone around me talking really loud. So, last Friday I was finally able to move into my office. Maybe I'll take some pictures and let you see it... I have to get rid of some files first! :)

I went to Tulsa over Memorial day weekend and finally got to see a bunch of my friends from up there. I seriously miss Tulsa and all my friends. I had a blast, and wish I could spend every weekend there.
This is Jessica, Zac and I. I'm not sure who's hand is up front... We were bowling... Paying attention really well!
Words cannot express who much I love these two girls! We always had WAY too much fun when we were together. So naturally, Ami and I invaded Whitney and Ralph's since they went and got married... It was a fun night playing HSM3 and watching Hairspray! I miss these two!

I also went to Jason's graduation from SFA in Nac... It was fun to see the family out there and spend some time with them. I love my brothers even more for the support they gave me that weekend. (It's a long story that involves a boy being really stupid.)
Well done Jason! :)

The sister's and Mom had a girls weekend in San Antonio this past weekend. We forgot how HOT it gets down there even though it's only an hour and a half from Austin... We all went to a temple session and then stayed at a hotel for the night. It was fun to sit around and ask Mom a bunch of questions about when she was growing up and get the answers from her... Tami, I'll have to email them to you...

That's all I've got for you... I'll try and have something else to talk about soon!

Blessings

So I have had some nights lately that I can't sleep, so I have had time to think. I have been thinking a lot about how blessed I am.
Because of some recent events in my life I have been reflecting more and more on my blessing to realize that everything will be ok.
So, I'm going to make a list of my blessings and hope that I can add more to it as I think about them...
1. I have the most AMAZING family ever. There are a lot of us, but I can see how they support me in what I do, and I hope they know I support them and love them too.

2. The Gospel.

3. The love I feel everyday from my Heavenly Father. It's awesome!

4. The fact that I love my job! I have worked where I didn't want to go to work, but I'm finally doing something that I want to do, and I love it.

5. My awesome extended family! This should be higher up on my list, I know, but I love them all a lot. I haven't spent a ton of time with them all, but the time I have spent is always fun.

6. The internet. Let me explain: I can get in contact with everyone I want to talk to by some form of communication on the internet. I can keep in contact with those extended family members that I don't get to see!

7. My awesome parents. Again, this should be WAY higher up on the list... if there was a real number before 1 this should be there. They are the best parents a girl could have. I don't know how I lucked out by getting them! They are the best example of what a marriage should be and I aspire to be like them someday. I could say more, but if you know my parents you know...

There are way more, but as I'm at work I will finish for now.

Oh Heck...

So I know a lot of my cousins read this blog, and I'm trying to remember how to play Oh Heck! I only remember parts of it, so I figure if we all pitch in we might be able to get it... If all else fails we can call Aunt Janet. She'll remember...

By the way, life is going well. I was promoted to Office Manager about 2 weeks ago, and have been so busy I haven't been able to tell everyone! I decided I would take this next season off of softball so that I can get myself organized with this new job, but I'll be back to it in the fall. I love y'all!

PS I get to go to Florida every other month for work now! Free trip to Florida... I'm not arguing! :)
